If you're here to complain, read this FIRST

Okay, people, here's the deal.
About month or two ago, my sub ran out. The biggest problem with no sub is that my ability to fave is slowed tremendously. Between dA being super-slow already, the ads and the inability to see the work in thumb to figure out its content before opening it up, I can't fave as fast as I could. Also, my computer is getting old, and with age comes crap. Like loss of speed.
What this means is, I have over 400 deviations in my inbox to look through RIGHT NOW. Since dA likes to run especially slow, despite my best efforts I can't go more than 20-30 devs at a time. And, as a result, it keeps piling on. Which means it gets harder and harder to deal with.
So if it seems like I'm fave bombing you, that's likely because I've managed to get to a point where I can fave and there's a lot of stuff of yours that I have to get through. Most of my stock and photo friends are used to this, I'm sure, but some of you others may not be. Sorry, but this is how it's going to go.
Also, as time goes by, I may actually see the back few pages. This means that, in a month from now (if I'm lucky), I may be faving stuff from this month. Roll with it.
Finally, I won't be commenting much, if at all. There's too much work to be done with faves to comment, even given my slow rate of comments already. If I can muster the speed, I'll try to, but please don't count on it... I'm far enough behind as it is, and without speed, I'm screwed with faving.
So please, DON'T COMPLAIN about "fave bombing" or lack of comments! Thanks for understanding, and maybe soon I'll actually get to a point when this won't apply!

Have you tried Greasemonkey/Adblock? I use them to get rid of the ads, and to have hover thumbs (don't know if they do that for subscriptions; I haven't had one for a long while).

I haven't yet, but that's not the only problem... dA, as they say, are trying to make the server faster... that means it's slow. Even when I didn't have the ads, it was the server a lot :-P
Thanks for the advice though... I'll look into it!
